• Facilitate executive workshops on business priorities, strengths and weaknesses
• Perform fairly intensive evaluations of the distribution network and systems tools
• Model the distribution network using CAPS distribution network optimization tool

This intense approach with experienced consultants helped accelerate the project findings far more quickly than they had seen with other firms.

Results

A new supply chain vision and systems architecture was developed in weeks with a clear migration path that worked within the financial constraints of the new private equity ownership plan. A new distribution network and lean distribution concept were developed that will cut one week of cycle time, lower finished goods inventory, and enable higher levels of first-time complete shipments.
